Dr. Bessinger is board-certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He attained his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his MD from Tulane University in New Orleans. He also has a doctorate in parasitology and a master's of public health and tropical medicine. Dr. Bessinger did his residency training in dermatology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Most recently, he served as Chief of Dermatology at Tripler Army Medical Center.
